MEET DR. ANGIE WATHAN, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Angie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Elementary Education.  She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2004.  She has had advanced, extensive post graduate training in areas of brain injury, neurodevelopmental disorders, pediatrics and pre/postnatal care. Passionate about promoting and educating her patients about good nutrition and works with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, learning disabilities, neuro-immunology, seizures and other pediatric topics.  She is the only chiropractor in the area that has this type of training.

 

Dr. Angie and her husband, Dr. Jesse, are proud parents to Josie and twins, Justin & Jarret. Together, they relish spending quality time as a family, whether it's exploring the outdoors, visiting parks, or simply enjoying precious moments at home.

MEET DR. JESSE WATHAN, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Co-owner of Montana Spine and Neurodevelopment Center

Dr. Jesse graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Along with his DC degree, he has a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology.

 

He has focused his practice on chiropractic sports rehabilitation. At Palmer College of Chiropractic, one of the top chiropractic sports medicine programs in the country, he was selected to be a teaching assistant for physiotherapy and rehabilitation courses. He also did an internship at the sports injury and rehabilitation department of the college.

 

Dr. Jesse was heavily involved in Palmer sports council where make-shift-clinics were set up to provide chiropractic care at sporting events. He spent many hours treating elite athletes, beginners, and weekend warriors alike in a variety of sporting venues.

In his free time, he can be found mountain biking, snow skiing, farming, creating home projects, or enjoying a ballgame. Jesse has a love for baseball that was passed down through his family as his uncle, John Wathan, played for the Kansas City Royals. Dr. Jesse played baseball for his college team and continued two seasons with the Muscatine Red Sox in Black Hawk Valley Semi-professional league. As a past board member and coach for the Glacier Twins, he continues to find opportunities in the community to help athletes achieve optimal health through chiropractic care.

MEET Natalie Sherbrooke, OTD, OTR/L 

Doctorate of Occupational Therapy and Registered Occupational Therapist, University of Missouri - Columbia, MO

​Natalie is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO for her Bachelors of Health Science; Leadership and Policy emphasis and a Spanish minor. After working at an overnight camp for individuals of all ages and disabilities during undergrad and shadowing an occupational therapist, she knew it was the career for her! Natalie continued her education path at the University of Missouri for three more years in the Occupational Therapy Doctoral program, graduating in August of 2024. She completed a variety of clinical rotations, including adult inpatient physical rehabilitation in Charlottesville, Virginia, outpatient pediatrics in Houston, Texas, and a community-based project with DREAM Adaptive Recreation based in Whitefish, MT. 

After living in the Flathead Valley for the summer and exploring nearly every weekend, she decided to stick around and join the Montana Spine and Neurodevelopment Center team. Natalie enjoys the creative aspect of occupational therapy to make sessions fun for people of all ages. Her true passion lies in outdoor adaptive recreation and in the future, would love to combine occupational therapy services with outdoor recreation! 

 

When she isn’t working, Natalie enjoys spending time outside, whether it's camping, hiking, boating with family, skiing, or skating on the frozen lakes. She also enjoys trying new recipes and craft/DIY projects around her apartment. 

MEET SAM JOHNSON, OTD,OTR/L

Doctorate of Occupational Therapy and Registered Occupational Therapist

Sam is licensed through the state of Montana Board of Occupational Therapy and the National Board of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Sam earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Montana State University Bozeman in 2017 and her Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Mary in 2021.

 

She has experience working in outpatient pediatrics, schools, and with adults in inpatient rehab. She has experience working with a multitude of diagnoses and has a primary interest in primitive reflex integration. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for children and families through creation of a strong foundation of health. She is active in furthering her skill set via continuing education classes to provide quality care to her patients.

 

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and two dogs hiking, camping, fly fishing, skiing, or relaxing on their pontoon.

MEET ANYA MARIE JONES, OTD, OTR/L

Doctorate of Occupational Therapy and Registered Occupational Therapist, Belmont University, Nashville, TN

Anya Marie attended Whitworth University in Spokane, WA; double-majoring in Health Science and Community Health with minors in Leadership Studies and Sociology. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Health Educator for her university, which further spurred her love for promoting health and wellness amongst people. 

Post-pandemic, Anya Marie started occupational therapy school at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She was a member of the Pi Theta Epsilon (PTE) honors society and enjoyed fieldwork rotations serving pediatric, geriatric, psychiatric, and neurological populations. In May 2024, she graduated with her doctorate in occupational therapy after completing IRB-approved research and a capstone project. Anya Marie is passionate about working alongside people of all ages and abilities to help them pursue independence and their healthcare needs. She values active listening, maximizing potential at all levels, and learning alongside clients as they seek well-being. Being newer in the field, Anya Marie is excited to earn additional certifications and training to allow her to better serve her clients.

Anya Marie and her husband, Caleb, are excited to return to the Flathead Valley with their cat (Louie) and puppy (Rhylee). If the pets don’t keep the couple busy enough, they enjoy camping, backpacking, spending time with friends and family, and serving at church together. Anya Marie also seeks to run a half marathon and thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail before having kids—we’ll see! She’s excited to meet you and talk all aspects of life (especially if you’re a Green Bay Packers fan)!

MEET SHANNON MUONIO, PTA

Chiropractic Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant

Shannon is licensed through the State of Montana Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Shannon graduated from Flathead Valley Community College with an AAS – Physical Therapist Assistant degree.

 

She worked in a skilled nursing facility for 3 years before transitioning to outpatient pediatric therapy. Shannon worked for another 3.5 years in a pediatric clinic that specialized in the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) Method before joining our team. She is registered as a Core-In-Training with the Svetlana Masgutova Educational Institute and has taken a variety of classes through the institute.

 

In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends and is often outside hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and skiing.

MEET JESSICA KIDDY

Functional Teacher

Jessica is a teacher and chiropractic assistant who loves children and is passionate about helping them grow and learn! She has taught in private schools, public schools, and tutored children with disabilities. She is also the director of one of the Flathead Valley Classical Conversations homeschool groups in Kalispell. Jessica also homeschools her three children.  

Jessica has observed the variety of challenges students face, especially in the areas of attention, behavior, and academic performance.  Her desire to meet the needs of her children led her to Dr. Angie and Montana Spine and Neurodevelopment Center. Jessica has seen first-hand the amazing transformation that can take place when a student’s body and brain are developed and integrated. She created an at home learning routine for her children and she is excited to bring her creativity and encouragement to your home as well. Jessica leads our monthly Brain Building class.

MEET JOSIE WATHAN

Front Office

Josie graduated from Whitefish High School in 2023. She is always up for a challenge, she has learned to snow ski with DREAM Adaptive Recreation, participated in Special Olympics Snow Skiing, Bowling, Track and Field, Miracle Field Soccer and Baseball. 

 

In her free time, you can find Josie snuggling with her support dog, Buddy.  Josie also enjoys reading, coloring, music trivia, watching movies, attending church, singing and a good cup of coffee. If you see her smiling face in the office, make sure you tell her hello!
